My story

I didn’t set out to build any of this.

I set out to be the best agent in my market. Everything after that came from one question I kept asking. What else is possible?

How one career became five businesses.

Twenty years, in order
01

A town with no stoplight.

I started in a town of fewer than five thousand people, no stoplight, no plan. Real estate was going to be a fun part-time thing. Then the first commission check landed and something switched. I wanted to know how far it went.

I became one of the top agents in that market, and the National Association of Realtors named me to its 30 Under 30, which told me the work was landing well outside a town that small. What had been a side job turned into a career worth building.

It taught me the thing I still say to every person I hire. You can learn real estate. Nobody can teach you the hunger.

02

Saying yes before I was ready.

The 30 Under 30 brought recognition, and recognition brought recruiters. Every brokerage in the state seemed to be calling, and the one I was with was owned by a developer going bankrupt in the housing crisis. I moved to Keller Williams because their whole model was teaching people to build teams, and a team felt like the obvious next thing.

I had no business starting one. I didn’t understand leadership, or structure, or what running a team would actually ask of me. Then someone asked if I’d mentor her husband. I said yes, and that was the beginning.

So I went and learned it. Every coaching program, every mastermind, every room I could get into. I’ve been a student of this business ever since, and I’ve never stopped paying for the education.

03

Small and mighty, until it wasn’t.

For almost a decade I ran what I called my Navy SEAL team. Small, tight, excellent. I was proud of it, and it worked right up until it didn’t. I was in a mastermind, plateaued, and a coach said the thing I didn’t want to hear. If you want to scale, you need more people, and you need systems and processes behind them.

Two things changed after that. I hired Justin as my sales leader and finally had real leverage. And I started running the business by the numbers instead of by feel: lead flow, conversion, performance, standards that everybody could see.

We went from a small team in 2019 to more than a hundred agents and relocations across Utah. Same market, same me. Different structure.

04

One business became five.

Growing the team fast made something obvious. We were handing clients off to a mortgage company and a title company for the two most stressful parts of the transaction, and we had no control over either one. So we built them. Title and mortgage came in, and the whole thing got better for the client and stronger for the business.

Around the same time, people started asking how we were doing it. They came to the office to see the tech and the systems we were running with Sisu, and those visits turned into events. The events turned into Real Estate Spring Break, our annual conference. In 2023 I started the Spring Inner Circle for team owners who wanted to scale, which is now The Forum Mastermind. be Collective followed in 2026.

In 2021 I entered revenue share and built an organization of more than three thousand agents. In 2025 I moved to eXp and started again from nothing. It’s about 750 today and growing. Building it once taught me how; building it twice taught me it was never luck.

That is the difference between income and ownership, and it’s the hardest thing to see from inside a business that is already producing.

05

Build the rooms I’d want to be in.

There are plenty of good rooms out there. What I kept running into were two kinds. The ones that were all tactic and boring as hell, and the ones that were a great time with nothing to take home. I wanted both in the same room.

So that’s what we build. Come to a Spring event and you’ll have a genuinely good time, the energy will be high, and you’ll leave with tactics and strategy you can use on Monday. Grateful you came, and better at the work.

Proximity is power. Who you surround yourself with, and the environment you put yourself in, is who you eventually become. These rooms exist to put you next to people doing life at the level you are trying to reach.

“Life is a mirror.”

Your outside world is a reflection of your inside one. The people you surround yourself with, the people you do business with, your friends, all of it reflects something back at you. Which is why changing the room you stand in is one of the fastest ways to change what comes back.

What I actually do now.

I still run the team. Most of my week now goes to everything built around it: the ancillary businesses, the coaching side of Spring B, the rooms, and growing the revenue share organization again. The week is full, and almost none of it looks like what I did for the first ten years.

What I’m actually good at is seeing what’s hard to spot from inside something you already built. The gap, the opportunity, the next move. Sometimes that’s a business model. Sometimes it’s a partnership. Sometimes it’s permission.

And I do all of it as a wife who genuinely loves her life and her husband, a mom and a bonus mom, and a friend. That part isn’t a footnote. The version of success that costs you those things isn’t the one I’m selling. You can have all of it. You just have to build it on purpose.

Work With Me

Beyond the rooms, I take on a handful of private clients. One call a week, ninety days, and I tell you the price before you ask. Private coaching.

Off the clock.

The rest of it

Off the clock I love my life and the people in it, loudly and on purpose. Work is supposed to fund the life, not replace it. If the business only ever produced more business, I’d have stopped a long time ago.

If you have read this far.

You are probably weighing something up. Here are the three ways in, from the easiest to the most involved.

  1. The masterclass. Free, every other Wednesday at 11am Mountain, with Vija and a guest who has already built the thing. Save my seat
  2. Private coaching. One call a week for ninety days, working on the business rather than talking about it. Space is extremely limited. Explore coaching
  3. One of the rooms. The Forum, Upgrade or be Collective, depending on who you are and what you are building. See the three rooms

You have already proven you can build success. Now build what success can create.
