Terms of use
The deal, in writing.
Short, because it does not need to be long. This page covers what the site is, what it is not, and what you can do with what is on it.

Who runs this
This site is mine. I am Spring Bengtzen, I write and publish everything at https://springb.co, and I run it from Salt Lake City, Utah. Using the site means you are fine with what follows. If you are not, stop using it — that is genuinely the whole mechanism.
Information, not advice
Everything here is educational and informational. The pages, the masterclass, the talks, every number and every story. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting or real estate advice, and reading it does not make me your advisor, your broker, your attorney or your fiduciary.
What I am is a real estate professional and a business owner describing what worked in my own companies. That is useful, and it is not the same thing as advice about your situation. Before you act on anything you read here, talk to someone licensed to advise you.
No promises about results
The numbers on this site describe what happened in my businesses, or what specific people have done in theirs. They are examples, not projections. They are not a guarantee, a warranty or a promise that you will do the same, or anything close to it.
What you get out of any of this depends on your market, your timing, your team, your capital and how hard you are willing to work. I do not control a single one of those, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something.
What is mine, and what you can do with it
The words, photography, video, design, logos, marks, course material and workshop content on this site belong to me or to the businesses I run, and they are protected by copyright and trademark.
- Welcome. Read it, print a page for yourself, quote a line with credit, and send the link to anyone you like.
- Not welcome. Copying it, republishing it, selling it, building it into a product, using it to train a model, or running it as your own training material.
- Ask me. I say yes more often than you would expect. Permission in writing is the whole requirement.
Program and course material is licensed to you for your own use when you buy it. It is not transferred to you, and it is not yours to pass on.
Links to other places
The site links out to the other businesses in the ecosystem, and sometimes to other people’s work. Those are separate properties with their own terms and their own policies. A link is not an endorsement of everything behind it, and I am not responsible for what happens on a site I do not run.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. I work to keep it accurate and online, and I do not promise that it will be either at any particular moment. Content goes out of date, numbers change, and pages break. To the fullest extent the law allows, I disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither I nor my companies, team or partners are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption, arising out of your use of this site or anything you read on it.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the greater of what you paid me in the twelve months before the claim and one hundred dollars. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for personal injury, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.
Coaching has its own agreement
Nothing on this page governs a coaching engagement. If you and I work together privately, or you join one of the rooms, or you buy a program, that relationship runs on its own written agreement covering scope, fees, scheduling, cancellation and confidentiality. Where that agreement and this page disagree, that agreement wins.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site goes to the state or federal courts sitting in Salt Lake City, Utah, and we both agree to that.
If these change
I may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top. Carrying on using the site after a change means you accept the new version. If a change is material, I will say so here rather than slip it in.
